How To Play
Setup
Boards are placed 10’ apart.
Players throw from standing on the board.
Games may be played 1 V 1 or 2 V 2.
Gameplay
The first team to exactly 21 wins.
Bust rule is in effect. If a player busts, they take their total score from that round and subtract it from their score at the start of the round.
Opponents may knock each other's washers off the board or into holes.
Scoring
1 point for the closest hole,
3 points for the middle hole.
5 points for the furthest hole.
History
Pitching washers has a long history. Holeyboard seems to be a relatively new game invented sometime in the 1990s in the United States. Like other washer tossing games, it has a lot of names, often overlapping with other games that involve washers. Ringers, Texas Horseshoes, Washer Board, Washers.
