  • The first to 21 wins with no bust rule in effect.

History

The exact origin of Waddies is unknown, but according to www.waddies.ca, credit goes to enlisted Canadian servicemen stationed in Europe during World War II.

Back in Canada, members of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 275 in Fergus gave the game life by making boards and experimenting with different throwing implements. Sergan James “Nort” Norton started using rubber furniture casters, which led to the evolution of the current throwing pucks and the current commercialized version of the game.

Andrew J. Speers was introduced to the game by his grandfather in 1988, and his family played it for years, modifying the game and pucks over time.

In 2020, Andrew and his childhood friends from Center Wellington, Ontario, started BortCo and began manufacturing and selling official Waddie sets.
